Saving time and reducing costs working from a barge

Environmental concerns. The works are carried out in the bay, environmentally considered to be of high risk, for which a thorough environmental control is carried out by government environmental agencies. The usage of the G3 System® allows for excavation spoils to be directly discharged into the river. As previously confirmed by testing, there is no negative environmental impact for marine live caused by the usage of the G3 System®. The marine works; The 120 marine piles of 2.000mm diameter with depths of 45 meters. The excavation method included a metallic casing driven 7 meters into the bottom of the bay followed by soil stabilization with G3 System®. All piles had around 25m3 of salt water that had to be mixed in the casing to speed up the production cycle. The slurry mixing at the barge used salt water and occasionally fresh water when brought by the existing available means. In marine projects all production is directly connected to its logistic. Hence using the G3 System it was possible to complete excavation and immediately setup reinforcement cages without waiting more than 15 minutes to d-sand the slurry. All works ran on a 24 hour shift. All piles were had Cross–Hole testing proving its integrity. The average concrete Overbreaks registered 6%.
